Follow Friday (3)

Welcome to Follow Friday Hosted By Parajunkee.com andAlisoncanread.com

This weeks question:

Q. How has your reading habits changed since you were a teen? or If you are still a teen what new genres are you in love with currently?

Well, unfortunately, I can say little has changed since I was a teen.  I was the teen with the "bodice rippers"... Yep, probably shouldn't have read those at 13, but oh well.  I do branch out a bit more.  I read mostly paranormal and fantasy, anything faireytale based, but I now mix in some Christian fiction, historical fiction, a little bit of mystery.  I'm will to try any genre once, maybe twice. After the 2nd time, I normally won't try again.  I still love my "bodice rippers".  They make me happy :)

So what about you?

Cana

  2. LOL... Cana you make me smile. I don't think we would ever get through a book together, we would kill each other.

  3. No... We'd just have to live in different countries Becca! With an ocean dividing us, we'd never kill each other!

  7. Oh my! Those are the books that made me blush! Still kinda do! If my paranormal books have too much of a "racy" cover I pull out my hide a cover!

  8. I don't put hide-a-cover on my "bodice rippers"... though it is bad when one of my little old ladies at the church catches me with those books. That is the GREAT thing about e-readers-- No one sees what you are reading, just that you are reading!

  13. Lan, Thanks for stopping by! I thought it was better to call them bodice rippers rather than panty rippers (because I swear each and every one of them have at least 1 scene where panties are ripped off!)

  18. Hi Lisa Jo! Thanks for joining. Unfortunately, I was reading them at 11/12... My mother wasn't too controlling on that sort of thing. Unfortunately at 27, I'm now officially addicted.
