Question of the Week: When you've read a book, what do you do with it? (Keep it, give it away, donate it, sell it, swap it..?)
I am what I fondly call a book hoarder (my mom calls it a book pack rat). I buy books, I keep books, I'll occasionally loan books, and I will definitely get rid of the books I don't like. Better yet, if I borrow a book, and I really like it, I'll go buy the book. Or if I get one as a galley, and I really like it, I'll go buy the other books. So that leads to the problem of the number of books I have. I have so many books that, uhm, my book shelf broke. So now they are all in books or in stacks around my house and storage unit. So I guess e-readers are helping me save space :P!
So, what do you do with your books?
Happy Reading!

I'm a book hoarder also! New follower :)
ReplyDeleteThank God, I'm not the only one!
ReplyDeleteYou are so funny!
ReplyDeleteUsually when I really love the ARC of a book I buy the finished copy, because I want to support the author!

My family calls it being a "pack rat" too. But we are the friendliest rats, aren't we? LOL

That's awesome that your shelf broke. Okay, not awesome, but an awesome claim to fame. :)
ReplyDeleteI love to keep books as well. I find it crazy that there are book lovers that get rid of them after they've read them. I just can't seem to even imagine parting with all (or even half!) of mine. :P
ReplyDeleteI'm a new follower. :)
