Question: Keeping with the Spirit of Giving this season, what book do you think EVERYONE should read and if you could, you would buy it for all of your family and friends?
Hmmm, book to give for Christmas to everyone? Well, there are a lot of great books that I've read (and re-read) this year. I think the one that I will say is one that I keep referring people to:
Why? This beautiful novel has all the makings of a great story. A woman, a witch by birth, denies herself who she really is because she feels that it will lead to nothing but bad things. A vampire, hundreds of years old, falls in love with the witch, something that is forbidden. With almost death experiences, they both have to work together and fight for what they want to be together. Big pluses are that the author is an actual historian, so everything is well researched, and there are no glaring anomalies to the different time periods she discuss.
So what book would you give everyone for Christmas?
Happy Reading!

OOh nice pick! I did read a good review of this one, but they did say it was pretty long. So I thought I would read it eventually.

Well, it is well worth the read. Yeah, it is long, but I was able to read it in 72 hours, just because I couldn't put it down.
