Friday Fun With... Mary Evelyn!

Friday Fun is where readers from ages 5 to 16 let us know what they are reading and why they loved (or hated) what they read.

Today we have Mary Evelyn reviewing :

The Description:

Lynn Vincent knows all the latest trends and isn?t afraid to flaunt her funky style. The problem is, in small-town Pennsylvania, being fashion forward makes Lynn socially backward. And the queen bees at her high school won?t let her forget it, especially when her dream of making the IT panel for GlITter Girl?the coolest fashion magazine in teendom?is crushed. But when one of Lynn?s unique creations makes it into the hands of a famous designer and onto the runway, it seems that Lynn might finally get her moment in the spotlight.

The Review:

Why did you pick this book out?
It seemed like Lynn was like me, creative.

What did you like about this book?
That it was about things I can relate to. Fashion criticism.

What did you not like about this book?
Chasey. She acts kind of like a b*tch through the whole story.

Would you tell other people to read this book?
Yes. It is a story that girls can relate to and it’s encouraging

Who was your favorite character? Why?
Lynn. She reminds me of me.

Who is your least favorite character? Why?
Taylor’s mother. She hates Lynn until she became pretty much famous. And she is not proud that Taylor hangs out with Lynn.
It’s her dream to be able to brag about how popular Taylor is.
